ANTHONY WALL
Born: March 14th 1962 - Coventry UK
Instrument: Bass
Former member of: The Reluctant Stereotypes
Tony attended Caludon Castle the same high school as Paul King and where his elder brother Roy Wall, a cool saxophonist, was actually in Paul's class. Leaving school Tony worked as a carpenter for 18 months before joining the Reluctant Stereotypes in 1979. A soul funk fanatic Tony had been playing bass since his early teens and quickly established himself as one of Coventry's best rhythm players so consequently a natural choice to join Paul in the band King when the Stereotypes ended in 1981.
Post the band: Tony played with a number of Coventry outfits before deciding the community may be better served by his appointment to the local police force.
